Photography, Audio and Video Recording Policy

We want to make sure that everyone using our practice feels safe, respected, and able to discuss their health in confidence.

To protect the privacy of our patients, staff, and visitors, the following rules apply.

Photography and Recording

No photography, audio, or video recording is allowed on these premises without prior approval.

Recordings for Public or Online Use

If you wish to record anything for:

  • Social media

you must get written permission from the Practice in advance.

Any recordings must not:

  • Include other patients or staff without consent
  • Breach confidentiality
  • Affect anyone’s privacy, dignity, or safety

Personal Recordings

We understand that some patients may wish to record their consultation.

This is only allowed if:

  • The recording is for personal use only
  • No other people can be seen or heard

If these conditions are not met, recording will not be permitted.

Where Recording Is Not Allowed

Recording is not allowed:

  • In waiting areas or shared spaces
  • Without staff knowledge or consent
  • Where other patients may be seen or overheard
  • If it could disrupt care or cause concern to others

Sharing Recordings

You must not share any recordings taken in the practice (including on social media) unless you have written permission.

Respect and Privacy

Everyone has the right to:

  • Be treated with dignity and respect
  • Have their personal information kept confidential
  • Attend appointments without being recorded

If the Policy Is Not Followed

We may:

  • Ask you to stop recording
  • Ask you to delete recordings
