Welcome to Queenhill Medical Practice
We are participating in an approach to improve access for patients to GP appointments. The aim is to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional, which may be a GP, Pharmacist, First Contact Practitioner, Paramedic, Specialised MH Nurse or a Link Worker. If your symptoms could be resolved by a booked consultation with the pharmacist instead of the GP, you will be given a same-day referral to a pharmacy of your choice.
We think this is a good thing. Once you see how great your local pharmacist is – they are highly trained and skilled clinicians experienced in treating minor illnesses – we don’t think you’ll look back. This will also help us to free up GP appointments for people with more complex health needs and ensure that everyone gets treated at the right time, by the right healthcare professional.
We are keen to hear what you think and will be listening to your comments and feedback about your experience of using this service.
Following a patient questionnaire, the results identified that patients wanted more GP appointments between 4-8pm Monday – Friday and on Saturdays between 9-5pm.
SELNASH PCN have listened to these requirements and have organised additional GP and Nurse Appointments based at Farley Road Practice, 53 Farley Road, Selsdon, CR2 7NG.

Not only can you book routine and urgent appointments but you can, also, request fit notes, check your symptoms, access self-help services and much more!

Appointments can be made online (using the AskFirst App or by using the NHS app from your mobile phone). Please remember that an appointment is for ONE person only. If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible so it can be used for another patient. If you want an online appointment (video call) then let us know and the doctor will provide a link to use on the day of the appointment.
QUEENHILL PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP (THE PPG)What is the Patient Participation Group? Why not join us.... The group consists of a number of members with a chair and a patient representative now appointed. We meet regularly to decide ways of making a positive contribution to improving the services and facilities offered by our practice – to you the patient. If you have a little time to spare and are interested in joining our friendly and proactive group then please contact the Practice, further information and online sign up is available in the Patient Group section. Disabled Access
There is disabled access via the pathway and the front door. There is also a fully equipped toilet with wheelchair access. Please also remember to ask the reception Team for an appointment downstairs as the practice does not have a lift.
Toys and Children's Books
We are sorry to inform you that due to compliance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) guidelines and infection control we will no longer keep toys or children’s books in the waiting or consulting areas at our Surgery. We appreciate our young patients may need to be kept occupied and to prevent boredom we would encourage you to bring a small toy or book to occupy your child when they need to visit the Surgery.

Zero Tolerance
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases, we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises. You can learn more here.
